In this role, you will:
- Participate as a core member of cross-functional project teams including Project Management, Purchasing, Customer Service, Manufacturing, and Field Operations.
- Own and manage all engineering-related activities on assigned projects, including:
- Develop, review, and evaluate conveyor and material handling system designs.
- Interface directly with customers, vendors, and suppliers to review requirements and resolve technical questions.
- Perform engineering design evaluations and execute project work under the direction of the Project Engineering Lead.
- Review customer specifications and ensure designs adhere to all contractual and technical requirements.
- Provide technical support throughout the engineering, fabrication, and installation phases.
- Produce system and detailed design drawings using AutoCAD and/or other approved drafting tools.
- Review drawings produced by others for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD & working knowledge of Inventor or similar 3D CAD tools.
- Familiarity with standard engineering concepts, practices, and procedures—preferably within the material handling or conveyor industry.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting project schedules and delivery expectations.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply creativity and sound judgment.
- Experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating work with other engineers is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality.
