You contribute to the team by understanding the products, equipment, and services required to implement a project, and you work with vendors and subcontractors to make sure pricing falls within our budget and lead times work with the overall deliverables schedule. While working with vendors and subcontractors, you develop and maintain relationships with them that help to solidify our understanding of their abilities and capacity to perform work for us, while helping our partnerships grow.

In this role, you will:
- Purchase quality materials, equipment, and services from established suppliers.
- Procure and manage on site rentals and consumables, as well as arrange for disposal of surplus materials.
- Help develop procurement and buying processes to help support the company's growth objectives.
- Work with team members to purchase parts, including their tracking and invoicing.
- Become familiar with the types of materials and services required in material handling construction, as well as with our established suppliers.
- Resolve any discrepancies in quantity/quality of materials or services received with suppliers, escalating to management when necessary.
- Work with 3PLs to arrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
- You're organized and can switch between tasks / projects quickly without dropping the ball on deadlines.
- You're friendly and outgoing.
- You're a good communicator, whether via phone calls, email, or text.
- You're assertive and able to have hard conversations.
- You're familiar with Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- You have some experience in our industry.
