Position Overview
Outgoing and friendly Front Office Team Member wanted to join our low stress, highly positive dental team. We are well established, one doctor private practice, in a beautiful office with state of the art equipment including digital radio-graphs, intra-oral camera, Eaglesoft software and electronic (no charts) records. We are looking for an experienced, mature and compassionate team player to help us care for our wonderful patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Treatment plan presentations
- Discusses complex treatment plans with patients in an effort to help them understand their need for care
- Helps patients find a way to comfortably afford the dentistry they need by making financial arrangements per office protocol
- Answers patients’ questions regarding treatment and finances
- Shares any opportunities for same day dentistry for patients coming in that day that have unscheduled treatment
- Maintains patient records per office protocol
- Creates financial arrangements per office policy
- Ensures patients sign treatment plan forms
- Enters and scans all signed treatment plans into the software (Eaglesoft)
- Completes all follow up for all recommended treatment that remains unscheduled in a timely manner using the practice protocol
- Schedules patients as treatment is accepted, according to the template for the doctor’s schedule
- Reviews the doctor’s schedule at least two days prior and fill any openings
- Is the liaison for specialist offices by helping patients schedule their appointments with the referring offices
- Reviews reports from specialty offices and contact patients to schedule their next step as appropriate
Qualifications /Experience
- Minimum 1-2 year of experience as a Dental Treatment Coordinator
- Fabulous communication and customer service skills, must be a “people” person
- Excellent computer skills, email, Microsoft Office and dental software (Eaglesoft)
- Strong understanding of dental terminology
- Knowledgeable in insurance posting and verification with a PPO practice, in treatment planning and financial discussions and in scheduling
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Dedicated Worker, Team Player, Great Attitude and Motivated Self-Starter
- Professional, punctual, reliable and positive work ethic
Compensation
- $20 – $28 per hour, based on experience
