We’re looking for a Mine Manager to lead all mine operations, delivering consistent quality Run of Mine (ROM) ore to the production facility while driving safety, efficiency, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure consistent ROM quality and ore balance to the plant through effective ore control, sampling, and data management
- Develop and maintain short-to-medium term mine plans aligned with long-term guidance, including pushbacks and exploration
- Oversee all mine operations: crushing & screening, mobile equipment, surveying, waste management, and grounds maintenance
- Lead health, safety, and environmental compliance (MSHA 30 CFR, APCD permits, fugitive emissions control)
- Manage salaried and hourly teams, schedules, maintenance, and performance to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime
- Prepare capital expense requests (CERs), annual budgets, and participate in cost reviews and staff meetings
- Partner on reclamation plans, water recycling systems, and regulatory monitoring equipment
Requirements:
- B.S. in Mining Engineering, Minerals Engineering, or Geological Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mine operations, planning, and maintenance
- Proven supervisory/leadership experience
- Strong engineering skills (mine planning, surveying, stockpile estimation, slope stability, haul road design, drainage, etc.)
- Proficient in mine planning software, AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel, and Word
- Experience preparing capital & operating budgets
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills; able to manage multiple sites and priorities independently

Salary Range: $110-130k based on experience
