Position Summary:
The Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Management Supervisor oversees the daily operations of warehouse shipping, receiving, and inventory control functions. This role ensures accurate, efficient movement of goods, maintains inventory integrity, and leads a team to support operational and customer service goals.
Responsibilities:
Shipping & Receiving Operations
· Supervise and coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments.
o Both domestic and foreign
· Ensure accurate receiving, inspection, and documentation of goods.
· Verify shipping documentation (BOLs, packing lists, invoices).
· Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments.
· Ensure timely and cost-effective shipping execution.
· Resolve shipping discrepancies and damage claims.
Inventory Management
· Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts and audits.
· Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
· Oversee proper storage, labeling, and handling of materials.
· Monitor inventory turnover and recommend improvements.
· Ensure adherence to FIFO, lot control, and traceability requirements (if applicable).
· Manage inventory management systems (ERP/WMS).
Process Improvement & Compliance
· Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA) and company standards.
· Maintain clean and organized warehouse (5S practices).
· Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and procedures.
· Prepare and present operational reports (KPIs, inventory accuracy, shipping performance).
Cross-Functional Coordination
· Collaborate with purchasing, production, and customer service teams.
· Support demand planning and scheduling activities.
· Communicate delays, shortages, or issues proactively
Minimum Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED required.
· 3–7 years of experience in shipping, receiving, and/or inventory control.
· Must be able to operate a forklift & standard pallet jack

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
