This role supports project delivery by contributing to project work within budget and collaborating with cross-functional teams to help meet project goals and client expectations.

Principal Responsibilities
- Assist with structural design tasks in accordance with applicable codes and IMEG standards
- Research project resources and support design-related information gathering
- Help maintain client relationships, project design notebooks, and permanent record documentation
- Coordinate design efforts and schedules with other disciplines, suppliers, and project partners
- Document design decisions, meetings, and client instructions while tracking project progress
- Review project documents for accuracy and completeness before final check
- Prepare and issue addendum information as needed
- Conduct periodic job site observations and provide other services required by the contract services agreement
- Completed at least 2 years towards a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, or equivalent, required
- Prior internship experience in the building design consulting industry preferred
- Strong interest in design consulting
- Proficient with MS Office Suite including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Skilled in AutoCAD and/or Building Information Modeling (BIM) software
- Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups
