Survey Field Technician | Nashua, NH

IMEG is hiring a Survey Field Technician in Nashua, NH, to support land surveying field projects through accurate field data collection and survey assistance. In this role, you will work under the leadership of a Crew Chief, Senior Crew Chief, or Office Coordinator, applying survey principles, methods, and techniques across assigned projects. Principal Responsibilities Collect field data for land surveys, including boundary, topographic, and construction stakeout work Support day-to-day field operations on assigned survey projects Operate, maintain, and handle survey equipment, data collection tools, and other geodetic and reality capture equipment Set points on construction stakeout projects Perform quality checks using assigned survey equipment Download project data Maintain professional and productive working relationships with clients and coworkers Operate a company vehicle and observe safety and security procedures Required Qualifications and Skills Associates degree, or certificate, in Land Surveying or Engineering preferred 1 year of experience minimum required, 2 preferred, in the land surveying or construction industry preferred Ability to read and interpret operating procedures, safety documents, and maintenance instructions Ability to read surveys and engineering drawings Knowledge of modern survey equipment, devices, and methods Problem-solving techniques Ability to work independently as well as proactively collaborate as part of a team Possesses basic oral and written communication skills Ability to professionally represent IMEG Valid driver’s license with ability to be insured by IMEG carrier; must consent to a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background check Proficient in Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to travel with occasional overnight stays This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
