Job Description :
What You’ll Do
• Execute a phased migration plan, coordinating timelines and dependencies with internal stakeholders.
• Rebuild and configure automations (Automation Studio), journeys (Journey Builder), and associated triggers in the new instance.
• Migrate and restructure Data Extensions and subscriber data.
• Recreate email templates, HTML emails, and landing pages, preserving all dynamic content and AMPscript logic.
• Leverage Package Manager to transport assets between environments where applicable.
• Validate all migrated components through thorough QA and UAT, ensuring parity with the original environment.
• Document migration processes, decisions, and post-migration configurations for internal teams.
What We’re Looking For
• 3–5 years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience, with at least one full BU or instance-level migration under your belt
• Strong proficiency in AMPscript, including personalization, dynamic content, and data lookups
• Experience building and maintaining automations in Automation Studio and multi-step journeys in Journey Builder
• HTML/CSS expertise for email and landing page development within SFMC’s Content Builder
• Familiarity with SFMC Package Manager for cross-instance asset deployment
• Excellent communication skills — you’ll be working closely with stakeholders to align on priorities, flag risks, and provide status updates
• Strong documentation habits; you leave things cleaner and better-documented than you found the
Nice to Have
• Experience with SFMC REST/SOAP APIs
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM (Sales or Service Cloud) integrations
• SFMC Administrator or Email Specialist certification
• Experience working in regulated industries where data governance is critical
