Job description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter
- Build and optimize data pipelines for Snowflake data warehouse
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple data sources
- Develop and maintain data models, mappings, workflows, and sessions
- Optimize ETL performance and troubleshoot data issues
- Implement data validation, cleansing, and quality checks
- Work with business stakeholders to understand data requirements
- Ensure data integrity, security, and governance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data analysts and architects
- Support production issues and perform root cause analysis
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- experience in ETL development
- Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter
- Experience working with Snowflake (data loading, querying, optimization)
- Proficiency in SQL
- Good understanding of data warehousing concepts (Star schema, Snowflake schema, SCDs)
- Experience with Unix/Linux scripting
- Knowledge of performance tuning techniques
- Familiarity with data integration patterns and best practices
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform)
- Knowledge of Informatica Cloud (IICS) is a plus
- Experience with Python or scripting languages
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
- Understanding of data governance and security standards
