Ready to put your expertise to work supporting our nation’s veterans? MedEvals LLC is seeking a Board Certified, licensed Psychologists (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) to conduct veteran Compensation & Pension (C&P) mental health evaluations—no treatment, just impactful assessments.
This is for a two to three day per week part-time, employed position. The compensation range posted is as if working full-time, and it will be adjusted for the part-time status, based on the days actually worked.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive mental health examinations (MDE) including PTSD, Depression, MST
- (military sexual trauma), anxiety, eating disorder.
- Perform medical opinion writing as the subject matter expert for mental health claims
- Maintain patient confidentiality complying with HIPAA and VA rules and procedures
- C&P mental health examinations are one-time, no treatment examinations
MedEvals offers our vendors a vast network of providers who perform Compensation and Pension (C&P) exams, Separation Health Assessments (SHAs), and Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP) evaluations for our Nation's Veterans. Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctorate Degree in Psychology (Ph.D, PsyD)
- Graduate of an APA accredited program
- 2 years of post – licensure experience
- Active and unrestricted psychologist license in state
- Knowledge of psychological testing techniques, administration, and interpretation
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in performing C&P exams is preferred but not necessary. Training and ongoing support will be provided.
- Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP)
- ASPPB Certificate of Professional Qualification (CPQ)
- Clinical experience with Substance Abuse diagnoses
- Clinical experience with Evidence-Based Treatment
- Solid written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
- Work well independently and collaborate with others on a clinical team
- Enjoy a fast paced, changing environment
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
