Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable Survey Rodman to assist our survey crew in performing land and construction surveys. This entry-level position supports the Party Chief by helping collect accurate field data, setting stakes, and handling survey equipment. This is a great opportunity to start a career in land surveying or civil engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the survey crew in performing land, boundary, and construction surveys
- Carry, set up, and operate basic survey equipment (tripods, rods, prisms, levels, total stations)
- Hold and position the survey rod or prism pole for accurate measurements
- Clear brush, debris, and obstacles from survey lines and work areas
- Load, unload, and maintain survey equipment and vehicles
- Place stakes, flags, and markers for construction layout and boundary points
- Take direction from the Party Chief
- Record basic field information when required
- Work outdoors in various weather and terrain conditions
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No prior surveying experience required (training provided)
- Ability to perform physical labor and lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Basic math skills
- Valid driver’s license

Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly pay (varies by experience )
