The opportunity?

This position allows employees to apply a range of technical service skills and knowledge of processes to manufacture, service and repair products and tools to required quality. The mining tools and products are repaired at the facility in Salt Lake City, UT. This is an in office position and will not be performed remotely. Additionally, to champion continuous improvement initiatives and supports the new product introduction (NPI) process

To be successful?

• Can work autonomously to apply a range of technical service skills and processes to repair IMDEX products and tools used in the mining field
• Assis and communicate with other departments on product availability
• Support in the development and/ or updates to any product manuals and documentation
• Ensure all equipment is calibrated
• Experience in high efficiency assembly of products including packing products or kits as needed.
• Ensures all manufacturing, service, and/ or repairs is carried out within the defined turnaround KPI's
• Can support New Product Induction (NPI) processes
• Follows all work instructions, information, and training to ensure manufacturing, services and/or repair are performed to quality and compliance requirements as per procedures, SWIs and specifications.
• Correctly records information relating to production processes, including timesheets and job length.
• All work completed to ISO9001 standards and per company policies and requirements.
• 6S must always be considered in the handling, movement and storage of product and inventory
  
  

Requirements

To thrive in this role

Essential

• 2 year industry experience in a similar role
• Ability to clearly write accurate and routine descriptions of work performed.
• Basic computer literacy.
  
  

Desirable

• Prior experience using ERP (enterprise resourcing planning) software
