Associate- Alternative Investments

📍 Location: 100 Bellevue Parkway, Wilmington, DE 19809

⏳ Duration: 5–6 Months

💰 Pay Rate: $40- 42.49/hr (W2)

• Ensure a strong internal and external control environment, including oversight of 3rd-party administrators
• Partner cross-functionally with portfolio management, legal, tax, product strategy, accounting, and finance teams
• Support new product launches and the liquidation of legacy products at maturity
• Review and analyze NAVs for alternative investment funds, including reconciliations and fee calculations
• Support cash management activities, including capital calls and investor distributions
• Liaise with auditors, tax providers, and fund administrators to resolve open items and close inquiries
• Communicate fund performance and reporting to investors and respond to inquiries
• Deliver custom investor reporting and ad-hoc projects
• Participate in process improvements, technology enhancements, and new accounting implementations
• Support the investment and business teams with marketing initiatives and product launches
  

• 3–7 years of experience in fund accounting, investment accounting, or public accounting (audit)
• Experience supporting closed-end alternative investment funds; Private Equity experience a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; CPA preferred
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting for investment companies
• Advanced analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• High level of technical expertise with the ability to guide accounting decisions and dig into details when needed
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; VBA experience a plus
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and deliver results
