๐ฐ Pay Rate: $40- 42.49/hr (W2)
- Ensure a strong internal and external control environment, including oversight of 3rd-party administrators
- Partner cross-functionally with portfolio management, legal, tax, product strategy, accounting, and finance teams
- Support new product launches and the liquidation of legacy products at maturity
- Review and analyze NAVs for alternative investment funds, including reconciliations and fee calculations
- Support cash management activities, including capital calls and investor distributions
- Liaise with auditors, tax providers, and fund administrators to resolve open items and close inquiries
- Communicate fund performance and reporting to investors and respond to inquiries
- Deliver custom investor reporting and ad-hoc projects
- Participate in process improvements, technology enhancements, and new accounting implementations
- Support the investment and business teams with marketing initiatives and product launches
- 3โ7 years of experience in fund accounting, investment accounting, or public accounting (audit)
- Experience supporting closed-end alternative investment funds; Private Equity experience a plus
- Bachelorโs degree in finance or accounting; CPA preferred
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting for investment companies
- Advanced analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- High level of technical expertise with the ability to guide accounting decisions and dig into details when needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; VBA experience a plus
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and deliver results
