Location: Richmond VA Onsite

Job Description:

Experience: 15 Years

Client is seeking an experienced Network Architect with deep expertise in enterprise and cloud networking design, routing, security, and SD-WAN technologies.

Required Skills

• BGP Routing & Network Design (Must Have)

• Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela)
• Palo Alto Firewalls (PAN-OS, Panorama)
• Azure Cloud Networking
• AWS Networking Knowledge
• VPN, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect
• OSPF/EIGRP Routing
• Network Security, Segmentation & High Availability
• Telecom Carrier & ISP Management

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise and cloud network architectures across Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments.
• Lead network consolidation initiatives across multiple business units.
• Architect secure connectivity solutions including VPNs, SD-WAN, and cloud transit hub-spoke models.
• Design and manage cloud networking components such as VNets, VPCs, routing, and network security controls.
• Troubleshoot complex routing issues involving BGP, OSPF/EIGRP, latency, and failover scenarios.
• Manage and enforce security policies using Palo Alto firewalls.
• Design and support Cisco SD-WAN and Cisco Meraki environments.
• Coordinate directly with telecom carriers and ISPs for circuit deployments and issue resolution.
• Act as Tier-3 escalation support and mentor junior network engineers.

Preferred Certifications

• CCNP / CCIE
• PCNSE (Palo Alto)
• Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700)
• AWS Advanced Networking Specialty

Education

• Bachelor's Degree Required
