Job Title: Pharmacy Tech Inpatient
Duration: 13 Weeks
Location: 169 Martin Ave, Ephrata, PA 17522
Shift Type: Day 3x12-Hour Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Weekly Pay: $1,300.10 ($36.11/hr.)
Job Duties
Receive and stock deliveries of pharmaceuticals and other supplies.
Prepare, package, and label medications prior to dispensing.
Deliver medications to care areas within the hospital.
Deliver medications to off-site locations.
Manage pharmacy inventory, including use of electronic inventory management systems.
Monitor product expirations and remove outdated stock from inventory.
Respond to product recalls.
Compound non-sterile and sterile medication preparations.
Clean and disinfect procedures.
Perform clerical duties such as answering telephones and maintaining adequate supplies.
Train and mentor new pharmacy technicians and pharmacy interns.
Maintain specialized skills and expertise as outlined by department requirements.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician License required and must be in hand at the time of submission.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or Advanced Certified Pharmacy Technician required.
Epic experience required.
Pyxis experience required.
IV training and sterile compounding experience preferred.
Certifications Required
