About the Position

IMCO General Construction is seeking experienced and motivated Pipelayers to join our team for the construction of a new deep gravity sanitary sewer main in Nampa, Idaho. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to safety, and the physical ability to work in demanding conditions. You will be part of a highly skilled, team-oriented workforce committed to delivering quality work with integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow written instructions, plans, and blueprints to correctly lay out pipe routes.
• Ensure trenches are excavated to required depths and slopes; verify safety and legality before entering.
• When sloping is not possible, ensure proper shoring systems are in place.
• Level and grade trench bases using tampers or hand tools.
• Lay pipe in trenches and connect joints through welding, cementing, gluing, or other approved methods.
• Set and check grade using rotary lasers and pipe lasers.
• Install structures and pipe systems according to specifications.
• Backfill trenches and cover installed pipe systems.
• Perform physically demanding work in varying weather and site conditions.

Compensation & Benefits

• Wage: hourly rate $30.00–$36.00

Location & Work Schedule

• Project Location: Nampa, Idaho
• Project Duration: 14 months (additional contracts may extend work).
• Shifts: 8–10 hours; overtime may be available.
• Evening/weekend work may be required to meet project milestones.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 2 years of construction experience preferred; pipelaying experience strongly preferred.

• Experience installing gravity lines
• Ability to follow daily work plans, complete reports, and fill out timecards accurately.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Working knowledge of tools, equipment, and safety procedures related to pipe installation.
• Ability to work in adverse weather and on active construction sites.
• Savety sensitive Pre-employment drug test including THC and background check required.
• Strong commitment to teamwork, safety, and integrity.
