Administrative Assistant – Part Time

IMCO General Construction is seeking a proactive, organized, and service-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Boise office and field operations. This role is a key part of keeping our office running smoothly, coordinating events and meetings, and assisting crews and managers with daily needs. What You’ll Do
Office & Administrative Support
- Greet and assist office visitors, employees, and applicants.
- Handle daily administrative tasks: printing, scanning, photocopying, filing, indexing, and document preparation.
- Assist with assembling bid packages and paperwork for PMs and leadership.
- Route incoming calls
- Maintain office organization and cleanliness across all work areas, public spaces, kitchens, and supply rooms.
- Manage all incoming and outgoing mail, UPS/FedEx deliveries, and package shipments, including shipment tracking and delivery.
- Order and restock office supplies, janitorial goods, beverage stock, and kitchen items.
- Grocery shop bi-weekly and place Costco orders as needed.
Food, Events & Meeting Support
- Order meals for meetings; coordinate delivery/pickup and complete meeting setup.
- Assist Project Coordinators with jobsite food needs.
- Support office activities, jobsite events, trainings, and assist with company-wide events as needed.
- Help with planning, setup, and tear-down for internal meetings and training sessions.
Operations & Field Support
- Support the VP of Operations with daily administrative and project tasks.
- Deliver materials to job sites in the Treasure Valley region.
- Complete monthly fire extinguisher inspections and basic safety tracking
- Assist with licensing tasks for Boise trucks, including monthly visits to the DMV.
- Provide backup travel-booking support when Ferndale and Executive Admin staff are unavailable.
- Help with crew house setup.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- A positive, professional, and proactive attitude with strong customer service skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, interruptions, and changing priorities.
- Comfortable working in a busy construction office environment.
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to local job sites.
- Prior administrative experience preferred, construction experience a plus.
Compensation
- Starting pay is $25- $27 per hour DOE
Location & Commitments
- Location: Boise, ID
- Part Time: 4-hour shifts / 5 days a week
