Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an AutoCAD Drafter located in Amityville, NY. The AutoCAD Drafter will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and blueprints using AutoCAD software for the production of stainless steel food service equipment. Daily tasks include interpreting design specifications, modifying existing designs, collaborating with the design and production teams, and ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements. The role also involves troubleshooting design issues and maintaining clear documentation of all design processes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and related drafting software tools
- Strong technical drawing, blueprint creation, and design interpretation skills
- Experience with mechanical drafting, including attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of stainless steel manufacturing or food service equipment is a plus
