Graphic Finishing Technician – Grand Prix The Graphic Finishing Technician completes an array of detail-oriented trimming, cutting, assembling and other manual shaping/hand fabricating activities to ensure printed goods (signs, banners, etc.) manufactured by the Company are in their appropriate final form for delivery to customers. In addition to these responsibilities, this position will ensure all of the appropriate labels/markings are affixed to finished products and that such products are safely and securely packaged and ready to ship and install at our clients’ sites. This role in particular will support iMBranded’s Grand Prix events. This is a temporary role and will conclude once the Grand Prix graphics are complete. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (include but are not limited to)Work as directed by the Production Manager and in accordance with master schedule for the DepartmentSafely, precisely, and quickly cut, shape, and trim fabric and vinyl printed elements using an array of hand tools and other cutting equipmentAssemble graphic visual frames and other plastic elements related to the Company’s graphics product lineReview work orders to determine product specifications, materials and quantity requirements, and variation requests to accommodatePrepare items for shipment to customers including organizing them, labeling them, loading them, and building cratesSafely lift and move a variety of raw materials and/or finished company products to facilitate transportation to customer sites, both manually and with hand operated moving tools/equipmentOccasionally, operate a company vehicle over established routes and will pick up & deliver productsWork/interact with Manager and Graphics Project Managers to ensure deadlines are metWork safely & ensure coworkers are doing the same, per Company policyInspect finished goods for defects and advise Management of issuesOther duties as assigned by Manager/Company Management REQUIRED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES (include but are not limited to)Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to workEffective communication skills, both written and oralDetailed, with excellent time management and organizational skillsBasic math skills and the ability to read a tape measureThe ability to receive and apply direction/instruction and then work autonomously towards the completion of job activities in an extremely fast paced environment PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (include but are not limited to)The ability to safely use a wide range of hand cutting tools/machinesStanding for extended periods timeAbility to work overtime and weekends MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or equivalentThe ability to use hand cutting tools safely and effectivelyThe ability to safely & efficiently lift heavy objects up to 75 lbs.Demonstrated successful experience in a position requiring both strong attention to detail and manual dexterity PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS1 year(s) experience relevant experience in sign manufacturing/finishing WORK ENVIRONMENTExposure to building materials and saw dust created in millwork productionExposure to the sounds of a variety of hand cutting tools (saws, etc.) Company Description***iMBranded's VISION: Makers of the Customer Experience for the 21st Century***Since 1996, iMBranded specializes in helping automotive dealerships maximize the impression of their facilities on their clients.
