PRODUCTION CONTROL SECTION COORDINATOR- 3rd shift
Are you a detail-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? IB-TECH is looking for a Production Control Section Coordinator to help drive production flow, coordinate shipping operations, and ensure our customers receive quality products on time.
In this key leadership role, you’ll support daily manufacturing operations by managing schedules, controlling inventory, coordinating shipments, and leading a team to achieve safety, quality, and delivery goals.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Associate degree (AS) in related field AND 3 years of job-specific and related experience in manufacturing scheduling and production control OR;
- 5 years of job specific and related experience in manufacturing scheduling and production control AND;
- Must possess demonstrated analytical capability; ability to work independently and as a team; excellent written and oral communication; ability to inspire and motivate others; and proficient computer skills, specifically in Microsoft office applications, enterprise resource planning systems experience is a plus.
Primary Roles & Responsibilities
- Assign appropriate manpower to jobs as needed
- Container control for customers
- Data entry of firm and forecasted orders
- Direct and oversee shipping and Associates through policy enforcement and manpower utilization
- Direct drivers to designated area upon arrival and notify shippers of the arrival
- EDI control
- Ensure that new shipping Associates are trained accordingly
- Finished goods inventory control
- Keeping items stored outside in order through internal 5S methods
- Keeping the shipping areas organized and clean through internal 5S methods
- Monitor mass production build out and ramp up of new models
- Observe and enforce all shipping standard operating procedures including safety rules and regulations
- Planning and scheduling of mass production shipping and the shipping of new model activity
- Reduce delivery trouble report occurrences
- Service parts ordering and tracking
- Supports physical inventory including cycle counts of finished goods
- Timely follow-ups
- Tracking parts coming north bound from IM-TECH
- Trucking schedules
- Work in progress control
- Travel not likely or 0%, but may be requested by Leadership
- Training needs are based on IB-TECH’s training matrix for this position, relevant to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands
- Associate must be able to occasionally lift up to 40lbs in single or multiple lifts. Associate must be able to occasionally push/pull up to 100lbs. Associate will frequently bend, twist, turn, squat kneel, overhead reach, climb stairs, and pinch grip small objects for up to 4 hours per day. Typical work environment includes; sitting, typing, writing in an office setting 5 hours per day and standing in manufacturing areas 4 hours per day. Associate must have a valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles. Idle time between job tasks is likely to exist. Break/Lunch periods are typical in a 9 hour day.

Salary : $52,000 - $55,000
