What You'll Do
- Design and implement advanced guidance and control algorithms for autonomous driving systems
- Build, run, and analyze system-level tests to validate algorithm performance across complex, real-world scenarios
- Optimize control algorithms for real-time execution on embedded platforms
- Translate intricate traffic situations into safe, efficient vehicle behavior
- Keep pace with the latest research in autonomous vehicle motion planning and control
- Collaborate actively through technical discussions, code reviews, and team brainstorming
- A degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong foundation in control theory
- Deep, hands-on experience with motion planning and control algorithms for autonomous systems
- Proficiency with complex electromechanical drive systems, dynamic systems, and control theory
- Strong programming skills in C , Python, or MATLAB
- Mathematical fluency in probabilistic reasoning, optimization, and linear algebra
- Understanding of vehicle dynamics and experience with inertial navigation systems
- Familiarity with real-time systems and optimization techniques
- Knowledge of sensor fusion and localization algorithms
- Experience with state estimation and filtering methods such as Kalman or particle filters
