Organizational Profile 

DeveloperWeek New York brings 1,200 developers, engineers, software architects, dev teams, managers, and executives from 72 countries to New York City on June 9–10, 2026, for the East Coast’s largest independent developer and software engineering conference and expo, featuring a 1,000 attendee hackathon, hands-on workshops, technical talks, and keynote sessions covering the latest technologies, programming languages, platforms, and tools, including artificial intelligence, VR development, blockchain, IoT, serverless architecture, microservices, modern JavaScript frameworks, and more.

This event will be held at the TWA Hotel in Queens, NY.

Reporting Relationships

ImagineX Productions is partnering with DevNetwork to hire and lead the production team. You will be contracted by DevNetwork and together we will be working together to execute the vision of DeveloperWeek.

Availability and Commitment

We will have a full team training on the first day. From there we have the following shifts available - 

Day 1 - June 9, 2026

6:00am - 4:30pm

Day 2 - June 10, 2026

6:30am - 6:30pm

General Duties

• Assist in the set-up and breakdown of conference supplies
• Use scanning systems and equipment to scan badges
• Use a reservation system and equipment to verify guest reservations and hand correct badges for entrance into the venue. 
• Assist in troubleshooting guest issues.
• Assist in facilitating overall guest experience.
• Manage the speaker and stage experience
• Attend on-site staff meetings and execute tasks under the direction of Managers and Leaders.

Personal Characteristics

• Capability and comfort using smart electronic devices (tablet, smartphone) is a must.
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative work ethic.
• Capability and comfort being in large crowds of people.
• Possess the capacity to handle stressful situations with diplomacy and tact.
• Able to work efficiently in an organized and detailed fashion.
• Ability to adhere to DevNetwork policies, protocols and procedures.
• Understanding of your own personal limits and ability to articulate those limits to your supervisor.
• Have a great sense of humor and maintain dedication to the DevNetwork mission.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift/carry 50lbs
• Able to experience periods of extended standing.
• Able to walk and climb considerable distances, including inclines/declines during the course of a work day.
• Able to stoop, crouch and kneel while placing signage throughout the venue.
• The ability to listen and speak clearly is required.

Compensation 

$22 - $25 per Hour, Paid as an Independent Contractor
