This role is responsible for supervising frontline staff, maintaining operational standards, assisting with employee training, and ensuring the smooth operation of exhibit and retail areas. Experience
- 1–3 years of supervisory or team lead experience in retail, attractions, or hospitality preferred.
- Prior experience in guest service or customer-facing roles required.
- Experience handling cash, POS systems, and shift operations a plus.
- Seasoned safety ambassador
- Background in team-based work environments preferred.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to train, coach, and motivate team members.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Must be organized, reliable, and detail oriented.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
- Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs. and standing/walking for extended periods.
- Supervise daily operations on the floor to ensure smooth exhibit and retail activity.
- Support the General Manager by assisting with staff scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
- Ensure employees follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Act as a first point of contact for guest questions, concerns, or escalations.
- Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service and suggestive selling.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reporting.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stocking as needed.
- Provide feedback and coaching to frontline staff to improve performance and engagement.
- Communicate updates, goals, and expectations from management to the team.
- Support the maintenance of a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Assist with implementing promotions, events, and other operational initiatives.
- Meet sales goals and criteria.
- Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to ensure operational efficiency.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment with high guest traffic.
- Ability to stock merchandise and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Strong focus and attention to detail.
- Clear verbal communication skills and ability to interact with guests and staff effectively.
- Capability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English or other languages as required for job duties and safety requirements.
- Correctable vision and hearing.
- Skilled in the use of and manual dexterity to operate computers and office equipment.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as scheduled, with reasonable accommodation for religious observances and practices.
