Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties across guest rooms, corridors, lobbies, and public areas to ensure pristine conditions at all times
- Conduct floor care including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to maintain a polished and safe environment
- Assist with hotel setup and breakdown for events or special functions, ensuring all spaces are prepared to specifications
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas, storage closets, and utility rooms in compliance with safety standards
- Support housekeeping management by restocking supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring equipment is properly maintained
- Execute industrial cleaning tasks as needed in back-of-house areas or other designated spaces
- Follow established protocols for janitorial and custodial procedures to uphold hygiene standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional service delivery
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet extraction
- Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is highly desirable
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and safety procedures
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to follow instructions precisely while working independently or as part of a team
- Effective communication skills to coordinate tasks with housekeeping management and other departments
- Experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus
