Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of all public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and organizing.
- Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels according to established standards.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests and staff.
- Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to preserve the appearance and safety of all surfaces.
- Follow safety protocols related to industrial cleaning equipment and chemical handling to maintain a secure working environment.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold guest satisfaction.
- Adhere strictly to hospitality industry standards for cleanliness and hygiene while maintaining a friendly attitude towards guests and team members.
- Support other housekeeping functions as needed during busy periods or special events to ensure seamless operations.
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is highly preferred; familiarity with janitorial or industrial cleaning is advantageous.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, upholstery cleaning, and sanitation practices.
- Experience managing housekeeping tasks efficiently in fast-paced environments within the hospitality sector is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to chemical use and equipment operation in custodial work.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
