What You'll Do

As a BCBA, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families by providing high-quality, individualized behavioral services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral and functional assessments
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans
  • Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
  • Complete competency assessments and staff training
  • Monitor client progress and make data-based treatment decisions
  • Provide caregiver training in person and via telehealth
  • Attend IEP meetings and collaborate with other professionals
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation using an electronic data collection system
  • Communicate regularly with families, team members, and leadership
  • Maintain compliance with BACB Ethics Code and all applicable regulations
  • Perform additional administrative and clinical duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current BCBA certification (or eligible for certification)
  • Current Alabama Behavior Analyst License in good standing
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation with proof of automobile insurance
  • Ability to travel between clinic, home, and community settings as needed
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely engage in physical activities required during therapy sessions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience providing ABA services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Previous experience in clinic, home, school, or residential settings
  • Experience conducting caregiver training
  • Familiarity with IEPs and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Knowledge of classroom behavior management strategies
