Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Full Time Teacher Assistant to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while gaining valuable classroom experience in a supportive setting.
This is a full time position, and pay will vary upon education and experience!
Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in executing engaging lesson plans across subjects such as literacy, math, and social-emotional development
- Support classroom management by maintaining a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for children
- Help facilitate activities that promote childhood development
- Support behavior management strategies to encourage positive behavior and social skills among students
- Assist with classroom routines such as snack time, nap time, and transitions between activities
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to ensure a collaborative educational experience
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred
- The ability and willingness to work any shift between 6:30 am and 6:00 pm. Shifts will be consistent each week, but will vary what days you work which hours.
- Experience in early childhood education is preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
- Experience in classroom management and behavior management strategies
- Ability to support literacy education, math instruction, and other foundational skills
- Passion for working with young children and fostering their growth in a nurturing environment
