Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team working on base at Patrick Space Force Base. As an RBT, you will work directly with children with autism and other developmental disabilities, providing one-on-one therapy under the supervision of a BCBA. You will work extensively with the owner/lead BCBA, gaining invaluable experience and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans and teaching strategies.
- Collect and record data on client progress.
- Assist with developing and modifying behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency and progress in therapy.
- Maintain a positive and supportive therapeutic environment for clients.
Qualifications:
- RBT Certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR Certification or the ability to complete CPR certification.
- Ability to pass a federal background check.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for working with children.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
