Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in the West Melbourne/Palm Bay area providing daycare and in-home services. As an RBT, you will work directly with children with autism and other developmental disabilities, providing one-on-one therapy under the supervision of a BCBA. You will work extensively with the owner/lead BCBA, gaining invaluable experience and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans and teaching strategies.
- Collect and record data on client progress.
- Assist with developing and modifying behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency and progress in therapy.
- Maintain a positive and supportive therapeutic environment for clients.
Qualifications:
- RBT Certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR Certification or the ability to complete CPR certification.
- Ability to pass a federal background check.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for working with children.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
