What are the responsibilities and job description for the Video Editor / Motion Graphics Artist position at Imagination Mining Company?
Imagination Mining Co. is expanding our team and we need someone to make trailers, teasers and hype reels for our collectible card games. We are looking for someone who can create social content that stops thumbs cold.
What You'll Do
- Edit and produce game trailers, teaser videos, and marketing content for a growing CCG brand
- Build motion graphics that bring card art and game mechanics to life on screen
- Generate and integrate Ai video footage seamlessly into polished final edits
- Develop a consistent visual language across short-form and long-form content
- Own the timeline from concept to export
You Bring
- A reel that proves you can hook an audience in the first three seconds
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or equivalent
- Hands-on experience with Ai video generation tools — Veo, Kling, Seedance, Higgsfield, or similar
- A storyteller's instinct — you know when to cut, when to hold, and when to let the music breathe
- The ability to work across formats: vertical, horizontal, square, long, short
Bonus Points
- Gaming or TCG/CCG content in your portfolio
- Experience cutting trailers or hype content for games, events, or product launches
- Sound design sensibility — you think about audio, not just visuals
