Position Overview: As a Welder/Metal Fabricator at Imagination Fabrication, you will be responsible for creating high-quality metal components and structures based on detailed specifications. Your work will involve using various welding techniques, operating fabrication machinery, and collaborating with our design team to ensure the final product meets our high standards of quality and creativity.
***MINIUMUM of 2 years experience with Welding REQUIRED***
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Utilize various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) to join metal components (This is REQUIRED).
- Operate and maintain fabrication machines, such as plasma cutters, saws, and drills.
- Inspect and finish metal parts to ensure quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members to refine designs and develop solutions to fabrication challenges.
- Maintain a safe and organized workspace, following all safety regulations and protocols.
Qualifications:
- Technical training in welding or metal fabrication preferred.
- Proven experience as a welder/metal fabricator with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques and knowledge of metal properties.
- Ability to operate fabrication machinery and tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
