Entry-Level Shop Production Assistant
Pay: starting at $18.00 / hour

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Entry-Level Shop Production Assistant to join our team. No prior sign shop experience is required—we are willing to train someone who has a strong work ethic, good hands-on dexterity, and a great attitude.
This is a dynamic role where you will support daily shop operations, learn the basics of sign fabrication, and help keep production moving efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Vinyl Prep & Application: Weeding, masking/taping, and applying vinyl graphics to various substrates.
- Finishing & Packaging: Finishing and assembling signs; wrapping and packaging completed signage and graphics safely for shipping to install site or directly to client.
- General Shop Maintenance: Assisting with daily tasks including taking out trash, organizing tools/materials, sweeping, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.
- Production Support: Assisting senior technicians and shop manager with material handling, loading substrates, and general fabrication support.
Qualifications
- Attention to Detail: Precision and patience when working with small vinyl details or clean surfaces.
- Hand Dexterity: Comfort working with utility knives, squeegees, tape measures, and small tools.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and capable of working independently or taking direction from a team leader.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and handle routine physical work.
Preferred (Plus, but Not Required)
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, print shop, assembly, or similar environment.
- Basic familiarity with measuring and shop tools.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
