Located in the heart of Vermont’s Precision Valley, ImageTek manufactures custom labels, converts advanced materials, and assembles complex electronics under one roof.
We are expanding our operations and are seeking an Operations Manager/Site Lead to support our growing manufacturing operations, initially focusing on our automotive die-cutting operations. This role is responsible for overall site readiness, production coordination, cross-functional leadership, and customer communication.
The Operations Manager/Site Lead will be responsible for overall program delivery, cross-functional alignment, and operational readiness. This is a senior leadership role that requires strong execution discipline, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate diverse technical and operational teams. You will report directly to the Head of the Business Unit and work in close coordination with the Vermont General Manager to ensure alignment with factory policies, operational standards, and staffing needs.
What you will do:
- Lead day-to-day operations for manufacturing activities within the Vermont facility, ensuring readiness, discipline, and execution quality.
- Own the full project schedule, milestones, and deliverables for the Springfield, Vermont die-cutting program for the Automotive BU, ensuring on-time and in-scope execution.
- Manage and coordinate all on-site and cross-functional roles, including Engineering, Technicians, Machine Operators, QA/QC, Sourcing/Procurement, MES/IT, and Logistics.
- Escalate operational or technical issues quickly, driving cross-functional alignment to minimize downtime and protect delivery commitments.
- Support continuous improvement efforts, focusing on quality, throughput, and operational efficiency for production.
- Report progress, risks, and countermeasures to internal leadership and the customer, ensuring transparency and proactive issue resolution.
- Track project cost, resource usage, and regulatory compliance, including OBBBA, FEOC, and 45X requirements relevant to automotive and supply-chain operations.
- As the on-site leader, maintain strong customer relationships and effectively manage expectations, requests, and change control.
What you will need:
- 7 to 10 years of manufacturing operations leadership experience, with a proven ability to guide complex manufacturing programs from concept through sustained production.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical discipline preferred; advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven cross-functional leadership, with experience guiding diverse technical and operational groups toward shared goals.
- Strong technical familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality systems, and automotive industry requirements, ideally within die-cutting or related production environments. Familiarity with automotive quality systems and customer audits will be a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, capable of interfacing confidently with customers and internal teams.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage P&L drivers, cost structure, and productivity levers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment with a high degree of ownership and situational awareness.
- Occasional travel to California and Asia as necessary, approximately 10%.

Salary : $90,000 - $134,000
