POSITION SUMMARY: The ideal candidate will be seeking a long term career at a dynamic, financially secure, industry leader. The Sales Manager will build and lead a team of Sales Representatives that will extend a unique offering in document imaging & printing solutions for their prospective clientele; while also fast tracking to a career that provides unlimited earning and development opportunities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Recruits, trains, and develops an effective team of 8 sales representatives.
- Meets or exceeds document solutions and equipment revenue and new business development goals.
- Sets and directs sales activities for new business development in accordance with IMAGETEC’s go-to-market sales framework.
- Performs coaching and sales strategy sessions with assigned sales representatives and senior sales management.
- Executes sales framework for achieving specific company activity goals in product demonstrations, recruitment, and sales goals.
- Reviews and monitors sales development plans; ensures implementation.
- Prepares and monitors sales revenue and forecast reports for assigned team members.
- Supports, motivates, coaches and evaluates sales team.
- Utilizes all company programs and resources including inbound marketing efforts and vendor incentive programs to maximize value to customers and sales representatives.
- Maintains superior knowledge about all existing and new products and their applications.
- Maintains superior knowledge about competition.
- Directs, plans, and facilitates sales team meetings and training sessions on a regular basis.
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, General Management or related field, or equivalent education or experience.
- Must have a minimum of 3 - 5 years of proven track record of high performance sales management in digital imaging and office equipment/products industry.
- Managing and selling in both transactional and strategic selling environments.
- Must have excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Compensation is made up of base, commissions and expense allowance. Company Laptop and Phone are provided.
Applicant should expect to earn $160,000 at plan.
