Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an MSP IT Support Desk / Network Engineer. Based in Gaithersburg, MD, this position allows for a combination of on-site and remote work. Responsibilities include providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining computer systems, assisting users through a helpdesk, and ensuring IT systems operate efficiently. The candidate will liaise with clients to resolve IT-related inquiries and contribute to maintaining and improving network infrastructure.This position is hybird at this time but may change to a full in office position .
We are a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) supporting small and mid-size businesses across the DC metro area. Our environments include Microsoft 365, Azure, and Google Workspace across multiple client networks.
We are looking for a Tier 2 Support Engineer with MSP experience who can troubleshoot infrastructure, cloud platforms, and networking issues across multiple client environments.
This role includes remote support as well as onsite visits to client locations when needed.

Requirements
• 2–3 years experience working at a Managed Service Provider
• Experience supporting multiple client environments
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace administration
• Strong troubleshooting ability across cloud platforms and networking
• Comfortable providing both remote and onsite technical support
• Reliable transportation for client site visits in the DC metro area
• LinkedIn profile required with application

• Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2 infrastructure and cloud issues
• Provide remote and onsite technical support for client environments
• Manage Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments
• Support Windows Server and Active Directory
• Diagnose network connectivity and DNS issues
• Perform onsite troubleshooting, deployments, and hardware support
• Monitor systems using RMM tools
• Document troubleshooting steps and system configurations
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when required
