Due to tremendous growth throughout the company, we are seeking a high quality professional with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our team as a Rebuild Shop Maintenance Technician.
SUMMARY
Responsible for traveling to locations to inspect, refurbish, repair, and install industrial tunnel systems and related equipment. Performs mechanical troubleshooting, equipment testing, preventive maintenance, and system startup while ensuring quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for the refurbishment of laundry equipment .
- Perform root cause analysis for any abnormal conditions and operations of equipment.
- Manage time and budgets to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget
- Communicate with operations and leadership.
- Maintain and secure work tools.
- Clean and maintain work area.
- Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
- Order tools and machinery inventory parts.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Assist with installation of refurbished equipment in the field
- Role will require overnight and weekend travel
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Advanced skills (Journeyman level) required in one or more of the following areas HVAC, electricity, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, plumbing, carpentry, piping systems, and PLC programming.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds required.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment.
- Fast paced environment that may require some irregular or long hours.
- Ability to travel to locations to assist with equipment installation when required.
- Standing, sitting, walking, stooping, operating a forklift, grasping, moving equipment, pushing, pulling, reading, speaking, and hearing.
- Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 30 pounds.
- Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats.
