Responsibilities
- Assist with setting up and preparing screen printing equipment for daily production runs
- Support the Master Printer in all aspects of screen printing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop workspace, tools, and materials
- Collaborate with others to ensure timely completion of orders and meet quality standards
- Support the inventory management of supplies, including inks, screens, and other materials
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for all equipment and chemicals used in screen printing
Experience
- Prior experience or familiarity with screen printing processes is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Basic understanding of graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator helpful but not necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately in a production environment.
- Enthusiasm for learning new skills related to print production, color theory, and visual arts techniques
This position offers a chance to train under a master printer with 40 years experience.
Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
