Full-Time Premiere Pro Editor – Broadcast & Digital (Greater New Orleans Area)
Small, established legal advertising agency is looking for a full-time video editor with strong experience in broadcast and digital commercial work.
This is a hands-on editing role focused on high-volume, fast-paced :30 and :15 spots. We have some great clients who let us push the creative envelope so if you love thinking and editing outside the box this could be for you. Must be able to execute at a high level without constant oversight.
Role Overview
Editing primarily in Premiere Pro 2025
Producing broadcast-ready commercials and clean digital versions
Versioning spots across formats (16x9, 9x16, 4x5, etc.)
Incorporating motion graphics (After Effects, MOGRTs as needed)
From import to export you can handle everything from the pacing of the commercial to sound design, color, and final polish
Work Environment
Based in the Greater New Orleans area
Hybrid or in-person preferred after onboarding
Remote work is part of the workflow, but this is not a fully remote position
Editing is done on a centralized system (remote access when needed)
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
5 years professional editing experience
Strong background in broadcast TV commercial editing
Proven ability to version ads for digital and social platforms
Advanced Premiere Pro workflow knowledge (projects, media management, exports)
Solid motion graphics capability using After Effects
Technical Expectations
Organized, clean project structure and file management
Proper handling of sequences, frame rates, and export settings
Ability to step into existing projects without breaking workflows
Consistent, reliable delivery under deadline
AI Awareness (Important)
You do not need to be an AI specialist.
However, you should be familiar with current tools and workflows for video generation, voice tools, basic AI-assisted editing and understand how they fit into modern post-production.
Nice to Have
Experience in legal advertising
Familiarity with high-volume commercial production environments
Ability to work quickly without sacrificing structure or quality
