Axelrode Orthodontics is looking for an energetic and upbeat Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator who radiates positivity and excels in delivering excellent customer service. Our ideal candidate will be extremely pleasant with a great attitude and a team player. Must be able to work under pressure in a busy office and have excellent time management and organizational skills.
Schedule & Locations
- This is a full-time position
- Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
- Friday, 9 AM - 1:30 PM

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial consultations and assessment for orthodontic treatment
- Educate patients on various orthodontic treatment options and discuss treatment
- Provide financial estimates and discuss payment options with the patients and their families.
- Assist with insurance verification and billing inquiries.
- Communicate effectively with the doctors, dental team, and administrative staff.
- Handle patient inquiries, concerns and follow-up on treatment progress.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in dental assisting from an accredited program is preferred.
- Valid coronal polishing certification is required.
- Previous experience in a pediatric dental setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and office practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on creating a comforting environment for children.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with patience and professionalism.
- Proficient in using dental software and technology.
- Valid RDA license and certification in CPR and other relevant dental certifications as required by law.
- Spanish speaking preferred
