Accounts Payable Specialist

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to manage the full cycle of AP functions with accuracy and compliance. This role requires strong analytical skills and a commitment to financial integrity.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and review vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.Prepare and handle payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transactions.Maintain accurate and organized vendor records and files.Resolve discrepancies and issues related to invoices and payments in a timely manner.Perform month-end close activities, including reconciliation of accounts payable and vendor statements.Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts payable as needed.Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely processing of invoices and provide support on related inquiries.Continuously improve accounts payable processes and recommend changes for increased efficiency and accuracy.Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.Qualifications2 years full-cycle accounts payable experienceBachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent experienceStrong understanding of accounting principles and regulationsIntermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience with Sage Intacct strongly preferred.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAbility to work effectively under pressure and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
