The Ecommerce Content & Merchandising Manager, B2B owns how products, content, and merchandising come together across our professional ecommerce experience. This role is responsible for overall presentation, product representation, catalog accuracy, and on-site discoverability ensuring professional partners can easily find, understand, and purchase the right products.
This is a conversion-focused role, sitting at the intersection of site merchandising, content briefing & execution, experimentation, and ecommerce operations. The role works closely with Ecommerce, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Education, and IT to continuously improve the performance and usability of our login-gated B2B site.
Site Merchandising & Content Execution
- Own on-site merchandising across the B2B storefront, including homepage, navigation, collections, category structure, and PDP presentation
- Manage and optimize PDPs with a focus on clarity, education, and conversion
- Translate clinical, educational, and marketing content into effective, shoppable ecommerce experiences for professional users
- Brief & execute content updates tied to product launches, promotions, education initiatives, and seasonal priorities
- Ensure consistent product storytelling while balancing educational depth and ease of purchase
Product Catalog & SKU Management
- Own backend product setup and ongoing maintenance in Shopify, including SKUs, variants, pricing, availability, and metadata
- Ensure product data accuracy and integrity across systems, partnering with Operations and IT as needed
- Manage product taxonomy, attributes, and tagging to support filtering, merchandising, experimentation, and reporting
- Support new product launches end-to-end, including setup, QA, launch readiness, and post-launch optimization
B2B Discoverability & On-Site Search
- Optimize product discoverability through navigation, collections, filters, and on-site search
- Partner with Ecommerce and IT to improve on-site search relevance and browsing efficiency
- Identify friction points in how professional users find products and recommend structural or content improvements
- Ensure site architecture and product data are scalable as assortments and B2B programs evolve
UX, Usability & Site Performance
- Apply UX/UI best practices to improve usability, clarity, and conversion across PDPs, collections, and key site experiences
- Partner with Design and Development to refine layouts, content hierarchy, and interaction patterns
- Identify UX friction points and recommend improvements based on user behavior and performance data
- Monitor site performance and page load speed, flagging issues that may impact user experience or conversion
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure content and merchandising updates align with performance and usability standards
Conversion Optimization & A/B Testing
- Own a continuous optimization mindset across homepage, navigation, PDPs, collections, and key site experiences
- Plan A/B tests in partnership with our Digital Product Manager that are focused on improving conversion rate, engagement, and ease of purchase
- Test and iterate on merchandising strategies, content hierarchy, layout, and messaging
- Test and optimize UX elements such as layout, content hierarchy, and page structure with a focus on conversion and performance
- Analyze test results and translate insights into clear recommendations and scalable improvements
- Partner with Ecommerce leadership to prioritize testing opportunities based on business impact
Merchandising Strategy & Performance
- Support B2B-specific merchandising strategies, including professional-only assortments, bundles, and protocol-driven selling
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure merchandising aligns with education, treatments, and professional usage
- Use performance data to refine merchandising decisions and improve conversion
- Continuously evaluate and improve usability, clarity, and overall shopping experience within the gated environment
Analytics & Measurement
- Monitor site and product-level performance across KPIs such as conversion rate, engagement, search usage, and merchandising effectiveness
- Identify trends, content gaps, and optimization opportunities
- Share insights and results from tests and performance initiatives to inform future site improvements
Tools & Platforms
- Ecommerce Platform: Shopify (product setup, collections, merchandising, content management)
- Testing & Experimentation: A/B testing and experimentation tools (e.g., Convert, VWO, Google Optimize–style platforms, or similar)
- Analytics: Ecommerce and digital analytics platforms (e.g., GA4, Triple Whale, Shopify analytics, or similar)
- Search & Merchandising: On-site search and filtering tools (native Shopify or third-party)
- Collaboration: Project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, or similar)
Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in ecommerce merchandising, content management, or digital commerce operations
- Strong hands-on experience with Shopify or a comparable ecommerce platform
- Strong understanding of UX/UI best practices and how site speed and performance influence ecommerce conversion
- Experience running A/B tests and using data to drive conversion-focused decisions
- Solid understanding of product catalog management, taxonomy, and on-site search optimization
- Experience supporting B2B or account-based ecommerce environments preferred
- Highly detail-oriented with strong QA, organizational, and execution skills
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment
- Experience in beauty, skincare, or regulated product categories is a plus
Working Conditions:
- This role is based onsite at the IMAGE Skincare corporate office in Lantana, Florida, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Professional, fast‑paced office environment with frequent cross‑functional collaboration across Marketing, Creative, Product Development, and Ecommerce teams.
- Work involves consistent use of computers, digital tools, and content management systems throughout the day.
- Occasional extended hours may be required during product launches, promotional periods, website updates, or business-critical deadlines.
- May require periodic support during early mornings, evenings, or weekends for time‑sensitive ecommerce updates, site issues, or campaign go‑lives.
- Position requires maintaining confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment.
- Occasional travel to local office events, photoshoots, or warehouse visits may be required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer (typing, editing, reviewing content, and managing digital assets).
- Ability to lift, carry, or move items up to 15–20 lbs on occasion (e.g., product samples, marketing materials, photography props).
- Frequent use of hands, fingers, and wrists for computer work, digital asset handling, and content creation tasks.
- Ability to visually review and evaluate digital content, product imagery, and website layouts for accuracy and quality.
- Ability to move throughout the office to attend meetings, collaborate with teams, or gather materials.
- Must be able to maintain focus and productivity in an open-office environment with frequent communication and shifting priorities.
