Position Overview:
Image One is seeking a results-driven National Sales Manager to lead and grow our Resort Channel. This role is responsible for managing all resort accounts nationwide while leading a team of in-house sales representatives and independent sales reps. The National Sales Manager will execute sales strategy, drive business development, and ensure the successful distribution of Image One's apparel, headwear, and stickers across resort partners.
The ideal candidate is a strategic sales leader with strong analytical skills, experience managing mixed sales teams and a proven ability to grow revenue and gross profit in a branded product environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Own and execute the national sales strategy for the resort channel.
- Lead, coach and manage a team of in-house sales representatives and independent sales reps.
- Drive achievement of sales goals, gross profit targets, and distribution objectives.
- Identify opportunities to expand product placement and increase production distribution across accounts.
Business Development & Account Management
- Manage and grow relationships with all resort accounts nationwide.
- Work directly with customers and sales reps to identify growth opportunities.
- Travel 25-50% of the time to support sales reps, conduct customer visits, and drive business growth.
- Attend 5-10 industry trade shows annually to represent Image One and generate new business.
Data Analysis & Planning
- Analyze sales data, trends, and performance metrics to inform strategy.
- Develop and implement sales plans aligned with company objectives.
- Forecast sales performance and proactively adjust strategies to meet targets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with marketing, product development, operations, and customer service teams.
- Ensure alignment across departments to enhance customer satisfaction and overall performance.
- Provide feedback from the field to help inform product and merchandising decisions.
Requirements
Qualifications
- 5 years sales experience in apparel, headwear, branded merchandise, or related industry.
- Prior experience managing both in-house and independent sales representatives.
- Proven success driving national account growth and meeting revenue and gross profit goals.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel 25-50% and attend 5-10 tradeshows annually.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Suite.
