Facilities Maintenance Director

Description

 Searching for a multi-trade maintenance technician to join our team. In this position you will be responsible for overall facility maintenance and industrial machinery upkeep, working alone or with others. Must be a well-rounded individual who can perform efficient work on a variety of equipment, executing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical maintenance. Some basic carpentry skills are also needed for this position 

Requirements

· Must hold a certificate or diploma in a related field.

· Completion of an industrial maintenance apprenticeship program is a plus.

· Experience with industrial maintenance required; corrective/breakdown experience preferred.

· Thorough working knowledge of industrial equipment, its usage, and safety procedures

· Self-motivated, responsible, and safety-oriented individual

· Learn and apply standard tools and techniques to solve problems.

· Demonstrates a positive “can-do” attitude.

· Ability to manage time and responsibilities independently.

· Must have a flexible schedule.

· Must be able to pass a drug and background screening.

Facilities Maintenance Director Job Duties

· Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive and corrective maintenance requirements. Equipment and tools include motors, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, coupling and motor alignment, roller chain/sprockets, alignment, conveyor systems, and production machines. Troubleshoots malfunctions and complies with NEC standards on wiring and installations. Ensure equipment is clean of dust, ink, etc for the next day’s operations.

· Remove defective parts by dismantling devices; using hand and power tools.

· Controls downtime by informing production of routine preventive maintenance.

· Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

· Maintain facility, including but not limited to, repairing doors, light fixtures, fans, ceiling tiles, etc. Ensuring the facility is in good operating order.

Salary : $40,000 - $50,000
