Human Resources Administrator (Bilingual Required)
The Human Resources Generalist plays a critical role in supporting and executing the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department. This position requires a bilingual professional (Spanish and English) who will assist in recruiting, employee relations, payroll administration, benefits coordination, and the enforcement of company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train new employees within assigned departments.
- Oversee and manage the daily workflow of the HR department.
- Provide timely, constructive performance evaluations.
- Administer disciplinary actions and terminations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Manage end-to-end talent acquisition processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees using ATS platforms such as iCIMS, Workday, or Taleo.
- Oversee employee orientation programs to ensure seamless integration into the company culture and policies.
- Administer benefits programs and manage benefits administration systems like ADP, Paychex, or Paylocity to support employee well-being.
- Conduct employee evaluations and performance management activities to promote continuous development and recognition.
- Handle employee relations issues with effective conflict management strategies, ensuring compliance with employment & labor law and OSHA standards.
- Assist with compliance activities including affirmative action planning, workers’ compensation claims, and OSHA reporting requirements.
- Support change management initiatives and organizational design projects to optimize workforce efficiency.
- Maintain accurate HRIS data entry and manage HR data collection for reporting purposes using systems such as Oracle HCM or SAP SuccessFactors.
- Collaborate on training & development programs to enhance skills across teams and support succession planning efforts.
- Partner with leadership to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with organizational goals, including talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning.
- Provide guidance and support to HR staff, management, and employees on complex or sensitive HR matters.
- Assist in the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding qualified candidates, particularly for exempt and professional roles.
- Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and required competencies.
- Analyze compensation and benefits trends; recommend competitive pay structures and incentive programs.
- Develop and implement employee training, development, and engagement initiatives.
- Lead or support employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary meetings, and terminations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; maintain and update HR policies accordingly.
- Stay informed of HR trends, regulatory updates, and best practices in talent management and employment law.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (required).
- Minimum of 4 years of Human Resources experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with HRIS/HRM systems (Paychex Flex preferred).
- Experience with time and attendance systems (T-Sheets experience is a plus).
- Experience with recruiting tools like Lever or iCIMS to support HR sourcing efforts effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, and workers’ compensation procedures.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new HR technologies and systems.
- Report writing experience is a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of human resources management practices including talent management, workforce management, and strategic planning.
- Proficiency with HR systems such as Workday, UltiPro, Kronos, Ceridian, or PeopleSoft for payroll processing and HR data management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective employee relations, social media management for employer branding, and training delivery.
- Proven project management capabilities to lead HR initiatives from conception through execution.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality while maintaining attention to detail in data entry and recordkeeping.

Education and Experience:
- Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources management experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
- Ability to access and navigate all areas of the organization’s facilities.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $45,000 – $50,000 annually
