Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to target new business opportunities within assigned territories.
  • Manage existing client accounts through proactive communication, upselling, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical sales presentations to prospective clients, highlighting features and benefits tailored to their needs.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking events, and leveraging CRM software to identify potential clients.
  • Execute territory management by analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and expanding the customer base.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop campaigns that increase brand awareness and generate qualified leads.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients while maintaining profitable margins.
  • Utilize Salesforce or other CRM tools for tracking sales activities, managing pipelines, and forecasting revenue targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Lead sales team efforts by sharing best practices, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to overall sales management strategies.

Skills

  • Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technology sales with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Expertise in account management, business development, and territory management strategies.
  • Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for lead generation and pipeline management.
  • Excellent negotiation skills combined with strong analysis skills to assess client needs and craft tailored solutions.
  • Ability to deliver compelling product demos and technical presentations that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Strong communication skills for cold calling, inside sales activities, and building lasting client relationships.
  • Knowledge of retail sales environments as well as direct sales approaches in B2B contexts.
  • Experience in marketing collaboration to develop campaigns that support sales objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining high levels of customer service.
  • Flexibility in travel within assigned territories to meet clients face-to-face when necessary. Pay: $50,472.04 - $60,783.54 per year
