Job Description
- As a Collision Technician at Image Collision, you will play a critical role in the repair and restoration of damaged vehicles. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Repair and Restoration: Perform expert-level collision repair and restoration work on a variety of vehicles, including structural, body, and paint repairs.
- Diagnostics: Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify and assess damage, including frame and structural issues.
- Panel Replacement: Replace damaged body panels, components, and parts with precision and attention to detail.
- Paint and Refinishing: Skillfully prepare surfaces and apply paint to match original factory finishes.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous quality checks to ensure all repairs meet industry standards and customer expectations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all repair work performed, including parts used and labor hours.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including estimators and detailers, to ensure seamless repair processes.
- Proven experience as a Collision Technician in an automotive repair facility.
- Proficiency in structural repair, frame straightening, welding, and bodywork.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques, materials, and tools.
- Expertise in paint mixing, matching, and refinishing.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- I-CAR certification or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
