Image Awnings, Inc. is seeking an Installer to join our team. We design, fabricate, install and service custom awnings and canopies of every variety. The Installer will be responsible for performing a variety of installation tasks in accordance with company standards and customer specifications for both Residential and Commercial jobs. There is opportunity for advancement and collaboration as Image Awnings, Inc. continues to thrive throughout the New Hampshire and Southern Maine areas. The candidate does not need experience just a willingness to learn and the ability to work independently or as a team. Must be motivated, dependable and reliable with excellent judgement skills, problem solving and trouble shooting capabilities. A strong communication ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and customers is needed. A good work ethic and an understanding of how to conduct oneself on the job site, along with a positive attitude and the ability to be receptive of feedback is necessary. This is a full time position with occasional overtime during peak times. Duties, Requirements & Experience:
- Driver's license with a clean driving record
- Install various awning components and systems according to shop drawings and specifications
- Must be able to calculate measurements
- Measure and cut materials to the required dimensions
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble, install, and repair equipment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Communicate effectively with customers and address any concerns or questions
- Comfortable around water and boats
- Ability to work at various height levels
-Ability to fulfill physical requirements including lifting 75 lbs. above head, climbing ladders and working outside year round
- Must be mechanically inclined and have a basic understanding of tools involved in installation
- Competent to use a ladder
- Ability to read and follow written instructions, interpret shop drawings and complete paperwork
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
