The company wants a road warrior (75% travel) with experience selling to distributors.
Looking for someone who lives in the Midwest/Great Lakes states including Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Western New York.
This job is a remote position, but you can expect to travel 75% of the time. Stable company with a healthy, long-term sales history. They provide outstanding benefits and salary package. The company will provide technical training.
- Work on business development and sales of equipment.
- Build relationships with process engineers, maintenance, facilities, plant managers, purchasing agents at companies and organizations that pump liquids, semi-solids, waste, etc.
- Determine how the purchase of new process equipment can help the customer save money, improve quality, etc.
- Close multimillion dollar deals.
- Provide feedback to senior management
- 75% travel in the Midwest-Great Lakes territory including Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Western New York
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred, plus a proven record of successful consultative sales experience, including strategic selling and negotiation.
- Three to five years’ experience working in a mechanical/electrical engineering environment.
- Proven track record calling on and influencing decision makers in an organization for the areas they represent such as operations, quality, business unit, product development, procurement, engineering.
- Specific experience working with electrical submersible pumps and electrical control panels is preferred.
