Cleanliness is a necessity of every business. As a Custodial worker on our team, you’ll take on the important job of keeping our client's locations clean.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Duties:
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance
- Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out the trash, tidying furniture, and dusting surfaces
- Floor care functions based on school standards and procedures; perform floor care such as waxing, stripping, buffing, and other contractual duties according to regulations
- Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets
- Wash and sanitize toilets and sinks, and restock disposables (e.g. soap)
- Wipe mirrors, windows, doors, desks, and chairs
- May assist or perform minor maintenance, such as replacing light bulbs, adjusting furniture, or other similar activities.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities:
- A commitment to safety policies, procedures, and practices
- A commitment to arriving to work on time each and every day.
- Previous custodian/janitorial experience is a plus, but not required.
- Must be able to pass background check.
SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
Positions: Part-time custodian
- 2 hours daily, after 5pm. Monday - Friday
Physical demands may include the following on a regular basis: Walking, standing, climbing, bending, reaching, grasping, pushing/pulling, repetitive arm movements, and lifting and/or moving up to 30 pounds.
Minimum Hiring Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience in an institutional, industrial or commercial setting. Must pass a criminal background check.
Ability to commute/relocate: Savannah, GA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
License/Certification: Driver's License (Required)
