What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Lab Technician position at IMAFLEX USA INC?
This position will be Monday-Friday from 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM.
SUMMARY
Plans, designs, trains personnel, coordinates, and directs quality control program designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING.
Analyzes statistical data and product specifications to ensure product consistency with the standard specifications set by the company or the customer. Personally make inspections of resin hookups and quality checks at the start of each day and after changeovers.
Designs, implements and conducts quality control training programs for personnel.
Creates and implements inspection criteria and procedures.
Provides inspection activity to ensure products conform to specifications throughout production process.
Applies total quality management tools and approaches to analyze process variances and provide a reporting process that elevates awareness and facilitates resolution to root causes.
Performs various tests on Polyethylene film.
Directs workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities and products.
Works with scale vendors to ensure accurate calibration of all scales for company use.
Responsible for calibration and service of test equipment.
Investigate and processes Noncompliance Reports. Works directly with personnel to ensure quick resolution by evaluating complaint, validating failure and works to find root causes.
Responsible to oversee the “Quality Hold” area. Ensure that products are processed through there as quickly as possible.
